The interior is in very good condition, The bodywork is in very good condition except for a few bubbles over front left arch, a few small scuffs and a cracked light on the rear drivers side. The ‘Gentleman’ (I use the term very loosely) who has left the feedback bought from me a SAAB 9-5 SE Automatic. The car is a 99 T Reg and had covered 228,000 Miles! It had a FULL SERVICE HISTORY and had been owned by a Doctor ALL IT’S LIFE however and was in very good order considering the £600 I sold it for! The buyer, who lives 150 Miles from me came, test drove the car and inspected it thoroughly before driving it all the way back home. Just less than a week after taking the car I received a letter (I will be more than happy to show this letter to ANYONE who comes to buy a car from me) DEMANDING immediate payment of £350 into his bank account as the car had developed an oil leak??? Now call me crazy but I don’t think a £350 payment against a car that was sold for £600 would be fair in anybody’s eyes...do you?? His letter states that if he didn’t get the money within 24 hours (oh, he wanted it quick) then he was going to leave me negative feedback!! He also went on to say that the oil had leaked on his ‘block paved’ drive and part of the charge was because he had to get his ‘drive cleaned’(Remember I will be happy to let you read it yourself!) However if you have a look at where this guy lives on Google street maps he is in a TERRACE HOUSE WITH NO BLOODY DRIVEWAY!!! (You just couldn’t make this up!!) I have contacted eBay as this is clearly ‘Feedback Extortion’ and they have removed his comments but not the ‘mark’. I do strongly disagree that eBay allow this kind of thing, especially from someone WHO HAD NO FEEDBACK THEMSELVES. | As you can see I am really passionate about providing a proper service to the best of my ability and I hope that you will take this into account when considering making a purchase from me. It has got 4 good tyres. The Drivers wing mirror glass is cracked. The Multi Functional Steering wheel is not working. To the front you have sporty front fog lamps, whilst to the rear there are twin exhaust tailpipes - These may only be small details but they amount to an estate car which manages to look sleek and sporty, despite its size.It`s a genuine 2 owner car which has been part exchanged into an Audi main dealers with a full main dealer service history. To look at the car you would think it had only covered 30k miles - but in fact it has covered 160k! It has obviously been well loved and superbly looked after and because of its higher mileage, represents fantastic value for money. | A truly desirable and sought after load lugger - This Audi A6 Avant has the frugal, yet highly competent 2.7 litre TDI engine mated to a 6 speed Tiptronic auto gearbox complete with steering wheel mounted paddles. Power is delivered via Quattro all-wheel drive to give legendary grip and high speed stability in all weather conditions. This car produces 177bhp which is enough to give it surprisingly sprightly performance (0-60mph in 8.8 secs and a top speed of 138mph). The 6 cylinder engine is notably more refined than the 2 litre diesels and has a vaguely sporty (as in sporty for a diesel) sound to it. A6`s have always been one of my favourite cars to pilot on a long journey as they offer such fantastic luxury and comfort. This car had the luxury pack fitted from new which makes it even more luxurious. You sit in generous, yet supportive seats which are trimmed in "Volterra" black leather and heated, for additional comfort. The upgraded Sports seats fitted to this car as a cost option when new look similar to those you see in S-Line spec cars and are a lot more shapely than the standard items you would expect in an SE car. Those seats also have electric lumbar support for additional comfort and support. You sit behind a sporty 3 spoke steering wheel and marvel at a superb dashboard layout which is un-cluttered, yet laden with hi-tech luxuries to make life behind the wheel as stress free as possible. This car has a full colour satellite navigation system which is housed along with all the stereo controls in the large mutli-function centre console. This system is a joy to use and is a lot more simple to operate than a majority of systems we have used. The steering wheel is a 3 spoke, multi-function item which would have been a cost option when new. The wheel houses fingertip controls for the cars audio system as well as paddles for the tiptronic gearbox. These are also superb to use and can be used in the dedicated manual setting or to override the auto-box when you want an instant kick-down for faster overtaking etc. If you have always fancied an auto, but have previously favoured a manual as it gives you more control you will find that this Audi has the perfect compromise - With this gearbox you have the best of both worlds. | Let`s not forget, that whilst this is a high performance car with the cutting edge of luxury and performance, it is also a highly practical estate car with a colossal 565 litre luggage capacity and a spacious, family orientated interior. Our car is fitted with load area fixing kit which you can see in my final pic. Essentially there are slide-able attachments in the boot which help secure your load and stop precious items being thrown around and damaged in the back. The car is also fitted with a hidden towbar and adaptive air suspension. | Despite having covered 160k miles our A6 is in astonishingly excellent condition and shows barely any sign of wear. The car is finished in "Atlas" grey metallic which is one of my favourite colours in the range. I had a bodywork expert visit me last night and asked him to guess, from the cars paintwork, what mileage it had covered. He guessed 40k miles - Hopefully that shows you how good it is. The bodywork is original, but in excellent condition. The original 16" alloy wheel are immaculate - which is unusual for a car with such a mileage, but not surprising when you realise they have barely been on the car, as the previous keeper had larger diameter wheels fitted during his 4 years of ownership. All tyres are quality brands with excellent tread all-round. Because it is original it does have the odd stone chip around the nose end, but no-where near as many as you would expect at this mileage. The other only marks I noticed were on the rear bumper - a few scratches from items being un-loaded catching the top of the bumper. Other than that it is pretty much perfect. I have decided to leave the minor imperfections as they are as they do not detract for the cars overall superb condition, if anything the fact it is completely original and unmolested adds to this cars appeal. Having had 2 private owners from new, our A6 has been locally owned and serviced. The last service was completed on the 13th April @ 158k miles. It may have covered 160k miles but this A6 still drives as new and still delivers breathtaking levels of performance and ride comfort. It is astonishing how the whole car still feels as new - There is no sign of any adverse wear - everything works exactly as it should. This late 2005 car was the brand new model in 2005 and had a massively improved auto transmission over earlier cars. The 6 speed auto in this car features a tiptronic manual function which is controlled by paddles on the steering wheel. These allow faster, more user-friendly gear changes without the need to take your hands off the steering wheel. I love this feature as it allows you to enjoy a more sporting drive when you want to have fun, yet has all the benefits of a regular auto when you just want to cruise. | With 177bhp, a smooth V6 engine and factory fitted cruise control I can think of few more relaxing drives than our A6. Quattro all-wheel drive ensures this car is extremely sure-footed in all weather conditions with well weighted steering and precise but comfortable handling and ride. The factory fitted satellite navigation is easy to use with a clear colour display which is among the best we have tested. The A6 offers a fabulous combination of diesel economy and excellent performance. 0-60mph is dealt with in just over 8 seconds and the A6 wlll go on to a maximum of 138mph. | Audi are famed for their excellent build quality and this is a car that feels solid the moment you get behind the wheel. The interior is constructed of high quality materials that are well put together - the who car feels as though it were built to last. There is barely any wear inside or out - amazing when you consider it has done 160k but a testament to the quality of these cars. That solidity transfers itself to the feeling you get on the move, the solid stance and the feeling that this car is well planted on the road will mean you will ooze confidence behind the wheel. A standard A6 is an impressive drive but the Quattro four wheel drive takes this car to another level. At speed this car cruises silently and is extremely comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the cruise control fitted to this SE model as I found it an absolute joy to use on the motorway - where the A6 becomes a simply superb high speed cruiser. Around town you the A6 feels lighter and more nimble than a 5 series or V70. Our SE model is also fitted with rear parking sensors - an absolute god-send when you need to squeeze into a tight space and a welcome addition that makes this car all the more attractive and desirable. | I really cannot recommend this car highly enough. injectors fitted, a well known Audi weakness, at a cost of £2300 at Highland Audi.Anyone who knows A6s knows that the S-line has the sports look, but the lowered and stiffened suspension can be harsh over long distances, so all of my Audis have been SE spec instead. In addition to standard SE spec this car has the following options fitted from new;-Black Vacona leather seats, heated in the front and with electrical adjustment Heated folding front door mirrors and auto dipping rear mirror3 spoke sports steering wheel with tiptronic paddle shift - a `must have` optionBOSE surround sound Hifi systemDVD Based sat Nav systemTV Function, but requires updating to receive digital TV17 inch 15 spoke alloys, including spare, with unused tyreGSM phone with handset in centre armrestZenon headlightsStorage Package - nets in footwell and on the rear of the front seats and under seat storage bins on both front seatsInterior Lighting PackWalnut fasciaAudi Carpet matsThe alloys were refurbished last year and are in excellent condition with no kerbing. The front tyres have 7mm of treat evenly across them and the rears have 5mm. The spare is a full sized alloy, matching the car`s other wheels and is unused.The interior is in excellent condition and is free from rips, tears, stains etc, and has not had pets or smokers in it. There are some small scratches on the body of the car, but I would still describe it as excellent for a 7 year old car.The following items should be taken into account, and I`ve tried to reflect this in the price;-Rear parking sensors. One was replaced last year and following that the volume of the warning tone has reduced. They all still work, but the volume adjustment doesn`t make it as loud as you might expect.The cigar lighter in the centre console doesn`t work. Might just need a fuse. I`ve never gone looking, and recharge my phone from the rear one instead. I`d planned on getting it sorted on the next service.The car is fitted with Audi`s advanced climate control system. This has been erratic since I bought the car, and sometimes holds the required temperature and sometimes it just keeps heating the car up. I just over-ride this by using the manual settings instead. It may be that the aircon needs recharged, or it may be something more complex. I have a replacement control unit, which I`ll provide with the car. (Have now discovered that the replacement unit I have is not for this car, so rather than faff about waiting for another one I have reduced the price by £500. These units are available on Ebay for about £100) The car is still 3500 miles from needing its next service, and since you can control the temperature manually I`ve not spent any money looking into this further. Having just had to spend £2300 fixing the injectors I was going to leave it til the next time it`s back in the garage.Anyone who has driven one of these cars knows that the 3.0tdi engine is a superb combination of power and economy and combined with the quattro system makes this an excellent car for all seasons. Changes in my personal circumstances are bring about an unexpected sale.Any questions then please feel free to make contact.
