of 10 stamps to 195,205 miles done on the 9/5/11. It has had the cambelt done at 75,000 Miles in 2004 and at 116,986 in 2007. It has got tax until 31/08/12 and an MOT until the 25/05/12. This is a very genuine car with only 2 owners. It also has 2 keys. The body work is not in great condition as shown in the pictures with a few dents and scratches but no rust as far as i can see. It has got 4 good tyres. The Drivers wing mirror glass is cracked. The Multi Functional Steering wheel is not working. The Problem with this car is that it needs a new turbo or new waste gate actuator but still drives find but with not much acceleration. I have only got the v5/2 and v5/3 part of the v5. Cars like this one do not come around that often. This late 2005, facelift model, Audi A6 has a truly epic specification which must have cost an absolute fortune when new. These cars offer a superb blend of space, performance and economy that have made them a firm favourite of mine. The A6 is a handsome car - particularly this model which was launched in 2005. If anything the avant is better looking that its saloon sibling, with the sweeping roofline making it look even sleeker than the 4 door. Finished in "Atlas" grey metallic with contrasting polished aluminium root-rails or SE spec car is a class act. To the front you have sporty front fog lamps, whilst to the rear there are twin exhaust tailpipes - These may only be small details but they amount to an estate car which manages to look sleek and sporty, despite its size.It`s a genuine 2 owner car which has been part exchanged into an Audi main dealers with a full main dealer service history. To look at the car you would think it had only covered 30k miles - but in fact it has covered 160k! It has obviously been well loved and superbly looked after and because of its higher mileage, represents fantastic value for money. | A truly desirable and sought after load lugger - This Audi A6 Avant has the frugal, yet highly competent 2.7 litre TDI engine mated to a 6 speed Tiptronic auto gearbox complete with steering wheel mounted paddles. Power is delivered via Quattro all-wheel drive to give legendary grip and high speed stability in all weather conditions. This car produces 177bhp which is enough to give it surprisingly sprightly performance (0-60mph in 8.8 secs and a top speed of 138mph). The 6 cylinder engine is notably more refined than the 2 litre diesels and has a vaguely sporty (as in sporty for a diesel) sound to it. A6`s have always been one of my favourite cars to pilot on a long journey as they offer such fantastic luxury and comfort. This car had the luxury pack fitted from new which makes it even more luxurious. You sit in generous, yet supportive seats which are trimmed in "Volterra" black leather and heated, for additional comfort. The upgraded Sports seats fitted to this car as a cost option when new look similar to those you see in S-Line spec cars and are a lot more shapely than the standard items you would expect in an SE car. Those seats also have electric lumbar support for additional comfort and support. You sit behind a sporty 3 spoke steering wheel and marvel at a superb dashboard layout which is un-cluttered, yet laden with hi-tech luxuries to make life behind the wheel as stress free as possible. This car has a full colour satellite navigation system which is housed along with all the stereo controls in the large mutli-function centre console. This system is a joy to use and is a lot more simple to operate than a majority of systems we have used. The steering wheel is a 3 spoke, multi-function item which would have been a cost option when new. The wheel houses fingertip controls for the cars audio system as well as paddles for the tiptronic gearbox. These are also superb to use and can be used in the dedicated manual setting or to override the auto-box when you want an instant kick-down for faster overtaking etc. If you have always fancied an auto, but have previously favoured a manual as it gives you more control you will find that this Audi has the perfect compromise - With this gearbox you have the best of both worlds. | Let`s not forget, that whilst this is a high performance car with the cutting edge of luxury and performance, it is also a highly practical estate car with a colossal 565 litre luggage capacity and a spacious, family orientated interior. Our car is fitted with load area fixing kit which you can see in my final pic. Essentially there are slide-able attachments in the boot which help secure your load and stop precious items being thrown around and damaged in the back. The car is also fitted with a hidden towbar and adaptive air suspension. | Despite having covered 160k miles our A6 is in astonishingly excellent condition and shows barely any sign of wear. The car is finished in "Atlas" grey metallic which is one of my favourite colours in the range. I had a bodywork expert visit me last night and asked him to guess, from the cars paintwork, what mileage it had covered. He guessed 40k miles - Hopefully that shows you how good it is. The bodywork is original, but in excellent condition. The original 16" alloy wheel are immaculate - which is unusual for a car with such a mileage, but not surprising when you realise they have barely been on the car, as the previous keeper had larger diameter wheels fitted during his 4 years of ownership. All tyres are quality brands with excellent tread all-round. Because it is original it does have the odd stone chip around the nose end, but no-where near as many as you would expect at this mileage. The other only marks I noticed were on the rear bumper - a few scratches from items being un-loaded catching the top of the bumper. Other than that it is pretty much perfect. I have decided to leave the minor imperfections as they are as they do not detract for the cars overall superb condition, if anything the fact it is completely original and unmolested adds to this cars appeal. Having had 2 private owners from new, our A6 has been locally owned and serviced. The last service was completed on the 13th April @ 158k miles. It may have covered 160k miles but this A6 still drives as new and still delivers breathtaking levels of performance and ride comfort. It is astonishing how the whole car still feels as new - There is no sign of any adverse wear - everything works exactly as it should. This late 2005 car was the brand new model in 2005 and had a massively improved auto transmission over earlier cars. The 6 speed auto in this car features a tiptronic manual function which is controlled by paddles on the steering wheel. These allow faster, more user-friendly gear changes without the need to take your hands off the steering wheel. I love this feature as it allows you to enjoy a more sporting drive when you want to have fun, yet has all the benefits of a regular auto when you just want to cruise. | With 177bhp, a smooth V6 engine and factory fitted cruise control I can think of few more relaxing drives than our A6. Quattro all-wheel drive ensures this car is extremely sure-footed in all weather conditions with well weighted steering and precise but comfortable handling and ride. The factory fitted satellite navigation is easy to use with a clear colour display which is among the best we have tested. The A6 offers a fabulous combination of diesel economy and excellent performance. 0-60mph is dealt with in just over 8 seconds and the A6 wlll go on to a maximum of 138mph. | Audi are famed for their excellent build quality and this is a car that feels solid the moment you get behind the wheel. The interior is constructed of high quality materials that are well put together - the who car feels as though it were built to last. There is barely any wear inside or out - amazing when you consider it has done 160k but a testament to the quality of these cars. That solidity transfers itself to the feeling you get on the move, the solid stance and the feeling that this car is well planted on the road will mean you will ooze confidence behind the wheel. A standard A6 is an impressive drive but the Quattro four wheel drive takes this car to another level. At speed this car cruises silently and is extremely comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the cruise control fitted to this SE model as I found it an absolute joy to use on the motorway - where the A6 becomes a simply superb high speed cruiser.
