injectors fitted, a well known Audi weakness, at a cost of £2300 at Highland Audi.Anyone who knows A6s knows that the S-line has the sports look, but the lowered and stiffened suspension can be harsh over long distances, so all of my Audis have been SE spec instead. The front tyres have 7mm of treat evenly across them and the rears have 5mm. There are some small scratches on the body of the car, but I would still describe it as excellent for a 7 year old car.The following items should be taken into account, and I`ve tried to reflect this in the price;-Rear parking sensors. One was replaced last year and following that the volume of the warning tone has reduced. They all still work, but the volume adjustment doesn`t make it as loud as you might expect.The cigar lighter in the centre console doesn`t work. Might just need a fuse. I`ve never gone looking, and recharge my phone from the rear one instead. I`d planned on getting it sorted on the next service.The car is fitted with Audi`s advanced climate control system. This has been erratic since I bought the car, and sometimes holds the required temperature and sometimes it just keeps heating the car up. I just over-ride this by using the manual settings instead. It may be that the aircon needs recharged, or it may be something more complex. I have a replacement control unit, which I`ll provide with the car. (Have now discovered that the replacement unit I have is not for this car, so rather than faff about waiting for another one I have reduced the price by £500. These units are available on Ebay for about £100) The car is still 3500 miles from needing its next service, and since you can control the temperature manually I`ve not spent any money looking into this further. Having just had to spend £2300 fixing the injectors I was going to leave it til the next time it`s back in the garage.Anyone who has driven one of these cars knows that the 3.0tdi engine is a superb combination of power and economy and combined with the quattro system makes this an excellent car for all seasons. Being a used car, there will no doubt be a few very minor marks around the car – but absolutely nothing untoward or unexpected. This is a seriously fantastic car with only 40,000 miles, I bought this a few months ago predominantly for my father as he is disabled and wanted something comfortable and I thought you cant really get more comfortable than an A8 however after much discussion and deliberation: I have decided to sell the Audi as there has been a change of circumstances and also my wife is pregnant. The car is an absolute dream; my father being disabled is very picky in what he sits in and in this car we managed to go to London (which he has never been able to do in 20 years); and literally stepped out the car and said where shall we go now; it’s that good. The build quality and design is phenomenal and still shows today how great this car is. On my trip to London with various stopovers and city driving I averages 40.5 mpg going to London and 42 returning to Scotland; with 4 adults and a boot full of luggage; that’s quick impressive by any standards. The car is immaculate and up to date. Has full Audi service history and the next service is not due until 7,000 miles (or 30 days time). The MOT is due within 1 month however I will have this done 100% up to date for the new owner to ensure peace of mind; I have no doubt it will breeze through it. If I get full asking price or very very close to it, I will ensure the next service is done at main dealer Audi Glasgow at my own cost.
